The Magnolia Public Schools Child Nutrition Program, under the direction of Melinda McBride, Child Nutrition Director in cooperation with K-12 Culinary under the leadership of Chef Justin Mills, has the daily responsibility of providing nutritious, quality meals for the students in the Magnolia Public School District. Due to multiple federal regulations governing school meal programs, meals must meet certain nutritional requirements including limitations on fat/saturated fat as well as calorie targets specific to each grade/age group of students.

The Magnolia Public Schools Child Nutrition Program prepares and serves a variety of foods to our students. New menus with increased daily selections and a salad bar for all student was implemented to increase student participation and enjoyment with healthy meals. Our primary goal is to keep the students satisfied, healthy, and ready to learn!
