Today's Helpful Tips are all about lunch!
While we are happy to assist our students with anything they need help with, there are some ways you can make their lives easier at school! We did not create the graphic below BUT it is super helpful information for parents!
Extra tip! Ziplock bags are easy for kids to open. If they struggle to open lunch items like Lunchables and Cheez Its, you can send them in Ziplock bags instead!

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for virtual students on Thursday, August 20, 2020.
Kindergarten - 9:00am
1st Grade - 10:30am
2nd - 1:30pm
Location: Cafeteria in the former 3rd grade building.
Please note the following:
The packet you will receive in the mail will include multiple forms that need to be filled out entirely before attending the meeting.
Student devices will be issued upon receiving that packet of forms at the mandatory parent meeting.
In order to maintain social distancing guidelines, only one parent per student will be allowed to attend the meeting. Students and additional family members will need to stay in the car or at home. They will not be meeting their teachers at this meeting.
Any and all questions you may have about virtual will be answered at this meeting!
We are excited to offer alternative education options for our Panthers! It is going to be a great year!
ON SITE Student Announcement!!!
Your student should receive their teacher letter by the end of the week. They were mailed today! If you haven't received them by Friday, please give our office a call!
Today is all about busting myths!
Is my child's teacher even excited?! ?
YES, these teachers can't wait to see our kiddos! Children are the entire reason we do what we do and when they are absent from school, we aren't complete!
Will students be confined to their classroom all day long?!?
No, they will not! They will leave the classroom for lunch and recess!
At this time, art, music, and computer class will be done in the classrooms. Coach Malone will be conducting PE outside, weather permitting, as much as possible.
There won't be enough cleaning supplies and hand sanitizers to go around?!?
Again, that is incorrect! District administration has been stocking up on PPE, cleaners, and sanitizers all summer! Sanitizing stations have been placed at all building entrances and dispensers are available to all classrooms.
Students won't be allowed to leave their classrooms for lunch?!?
That simply isn't true. To encourage social distancing, kindergarten will have two lunch blocks where they eat in the kindergarten cafeteria. 1st - 2nd grades will keep one lunch period but use both the kindergarten lunchroom and the lunchroom in what used to be the third grade building.
Classrooms will be bare and uninviting?!?
Not even close! It is true that we are simplifying classrooms as much as we can. We have removed non-essential furniture and equipment but students will still be greeted with brightly decorated and inviting classrooms!
We are ready to adapt and adjust at a moments notice in order to provide a safe and fun school experience for all of our students! We will continue to be as transparent and honest with you as we can!
Are there any other myths we need to bust?!?
Happening now!
