Coach Jacob Richardson Honored with Arkansas Turfgrass Association Field of the Year Award
Magnolia, Arkansas — Magnolia High School proudly announces that Coach Jacob Richardson has been recognized by the Arkansas Turfgrass Association (ATA) with the prestigious Field of the Year Award for Don Hubbard Field at Panther Stadium.
This distinguished honor highlights the exceptional quality, maintenance, and overall condition of Panther Stadium’s playing surface. The award reflects Coach Richardson’s dedication, expertise, and commitment to providing Magnolia student-athletes with one of the top athletic fields in the state.
The Arkansas Turfgrass Association, established in 1988, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the state’s turf industry through education, research grants, scholarships, and professional development. The ATA serves professionals in landscape management, golf course management, sports turf, and sod production. The organization promotes excellence through educational conferences, industry resources, and networking opportunities across Arkansas.
Receiving the ATA Field of the Year Award places Don Hubbard Field among the premier athletic surfaces in Arkansas and recognizes the high standards maintained at Panther Stadium.
Under Coach Richardson’s care, Don Hubbard Field has become a source of pride for the Magnolia community, providing a safe and high-quality playing environment for athletes and visitors alike. He gives much of the credit to MHS seniors Jackson Stevens, Max Bohannan, and Daylon Glass, who are enrolled in the Turff Management Class at Magnolia High School and have been instrumental in maintaining the field.
Magnolia School District congratulates Coach Jacob Richardson on this outstanding achievement and thanks him for his continued commitment to excellence.
