Meet Katherine Pesses, Kindergarten PIE Coordinator
"Hey y’all!! I’m Katherine (Kay-Kay) Pesses and my husband is Joey and we have 3 fabulous kiddos; Tori(25), Brock(21), and the baby of the family JB(5). We are also expecting are first grandbaby in May!!
I love being a part of PIE and being able to give back to the teachers that pour so much into our kids, along with being able to help out so many kiddos in our district and having my little one share in that experience.
We live in such an amazing town with so many wonderful people that love to give back! I am always amazed at how many families and community members are always willing to lend a helping hand when our teachers and kids need it. We truly have the best teachers, staff, administrators, community, and kids in Magnolia! Go Panthers!!!"
Katherine and her family have been huge Panther supporters for a long time. We are lucky to have Katherine's baby on our campus this year and her as a PIE coordinator. Thank you for what you do, Katherine!

"Congratulations to Landry Carter for representing Magnolia at the 2022 State Tennis Tournament in Clarksville, AR on Monday, October 10. He earned that chance because he placed 2nd overall in boys singles in the district tournament. I’m so proud of Landry for his accomplishment to play at the State Tournament and looking forward to next year to see how far he will go!"-Coach Malone
Congratulations to Coach Malone!!! She is the real MVP! Winning for kids!!!

Meet Mrs. Graham!
Hey Van Goghs, lend me your ears! I am Vivian Graham, your East Side elementary student's art teacher! I was blessed with a part time position 5 years ago working side by side with the Bonnie Wood. I became the full-time art teacher 4 years ago and I can't imagine working anywhere else. I recently graduated from Southern Arkansas University with my Masters in the arts of teaching (MAT). Our focus revolves around recycling, repurposing, and reusing. This shows students to trust their own natural intuitions and it also encourages creative problem solving. Building confidence in thinking differently, helps them achieve our art room goals! We are focusing on learning more about expressing our emotions in a healthy way as well as learning how to identify the feelings we are feeling. Social and emotional learning through art is one of our goals! We are also growing in our literacy, in the art room. Whether its from creative descriptive words to creating their own hieroglyphs. We do it all! Thank you for trusting us with your kiddo! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out via email!

We are proud to recognize these staff members and the wonderful things that have been written about them!
