Congratulations from Mrs. Creech to Patrick Higgins and Caliyah Sanders on their performance this week in Lit Circles. Both received Lit Awards for strong leadership and exceptional encouragement of their peers. Students in Mrs. Creech's 8th grade English classes have been learning how to engage in student-led Literature Circles using the College Board method. They each chose one of three thematically linked novels to read and were grouped by novel. Each week, students read independently and prepare to present their assigned task for the week to their group. Each member has a different role, and roles rotate each week. They then meet as a group on Fridays to discuss the different style and thematic elements of that week's reading. Keep up the AMAZING work, 8th grade Panther Cubs!! 🐾💫
