Mrs. Fallin's career development classes recently attended the 2023 Explore Success Career Exploration Event at UAHT Hope at Hempstead Hall. After listening to keynote speaker Tyler Tarver, students attended sessions and hands-on activities sponsored by industry partners like Holcim, Con Agra, USHT welding department, Farm Bureau, and other service fire, police and ambulance departments.
We are focusing on excellence this quarter at MMS for our HEART OF A PANTHER theme. This past weekend, two staff members demonstrated that excellence. Mrs. Kaitlyn Mahaffey-McGee was named the ArkCDA Region 3 Middle School Director of the Year! Mrs. Melissa Matthews, the assistant coach for the MHS Dance team, recently helped lead the team to win the 1-4A Game Day Dance State Championship! Congratulations on your accomplishments and modeling excellence for our students.

Braylon Johnson is awarded recognition from the counselors for exhibiting Excellence in his attitude & perseverance. Braylon stayed positive even when he didn’t always win in a challenging game, but he kept trying & eventually won. He showed what it means to be a good sport…win or lose! Good job, Braylon!
The Magnolia Middle School Cheer team made their debut last night at the 8th Grade Football Game. The team is composed of 7th and 8th graders and is focused on building a strong foundation for cheer. It is coached by Mrs. Brock, Mrs. Reed, and Ms. Walker. Elaina Reeves, MHS Cheerleader, has been a tremendous help in getting the team prepared for performances!
